The College offers a dynamic and diverse curriculum, which
caters for the needs of young learners. Whether pursuing the
Humanities or Mathematics, Languages or the Sciences,
Presentation College Windsor provides the depth and breadth
of subjects to satisfy all students. The curriculum at senior
level also extends to vibrant Vocational Education and
Training programs, which are available to students who wish
to pursue industry-based subjects.
In 2005, the College introduced the Victorian Certificate of
Applied Learning, which offers an excellent alternative to
the VCE for those students with a learning preference suited
to practical tasks.
Throughout PCW, the dynamic nature of the curriculum
extends well beyond the classroom. Students are involved
in excursions to galleries, courts and science exhibits,
together with major study trips to Canberra, Japan,
Italy and Vietnam. PCW girls also participate in Geography,
Language, Moot Court and Mathematics competitions. The
annual Science Expo showcases the work of students before
a renowned scientist who hosts the event.
Presentation College Windsor strives to develop the academic
talents of each student, catering for individual needs and
differences in terms of learning styles and course content.
Our curriculum is characterised by excitement, challenge and
reward.
As we are in the process of finalising our curriculum review
further details regarding our new curriculum and structure
will be available shortly.
